Prime Video has unveiled the next chapter of the Reacher universe, giving fans a first look at Season 4, a preview of the upcoming Neagley spinoff and confirmation of the book that will serve as the basis for Season 5.

Reacher Season 4 will premiere August 12, 2026, with its first three episodes, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through the finale on September 16. The eight-episode season adapts Gone Tomorrow, the 13th novel in Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series, and finds Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher in New York after a chance encounter on a subway draws him into another investigation.

Ritchson appeared at the July 25 San Diego Comic-Con panel alongside new Season 4 cast members Agnez Mo and Anggun, where Prime Video debuted the official trailer.

The same September 16 date will bring another Reacher story to viewers with the premiere of Neagley. Starring Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, the eight-episode spinoff will be released in its entirety rather than following the weekly rollout used for Reacher.

The series follows Neagley after the suspicious death of a friend from her past. Greyston Holt and Jasper Jones also joined Sten at Comic-Con, where the first teaser for the spinoff was shown.

Prime Video also looked ahead to the future of the franchise. Ritchson confirmed that Season 5 of Reacher will adapt Make Me, the 20th novel in Child’s series. No production schedule or premiere date has yet been announced.

Meanwhile, Sten revealed another development for the Neagley character. Lee Child and author Yasmin Angoe are co-writing Zero Margin, described as the first Neagley novel, which is scheduled for publication in March 2027.

With Season 4 beginning August 12 and Neagley arriving alongside its September 16 finale, Prime Video is preparing a major stretch of new stories for fans of the franchise. Season 5 is officially confirmed, but viewers will have to wait for further details on when the adaptation of Make Me will arrive.
