The Voice UK may have found another potential coaching star, as singer Tom Grennan has reportedly filmed a surprise guest appearance alongside new judge Aitch for the show’s upcoming 2027 series.

According to The Sun, Grennan secretly recorded scenes for the ITV singing competition after being invited by his longtime friend Aitch. The pair reportedly filmed during the Battle stages, with the sessions taking place at ITV’s studios in Salford in recent weeks.

The unexpected collaboration could be more than a one-off appearance. A source told the publication that Grennan impressed producers during filming, prompting discussions about whether he could eventually become a permanent coach.

The insider explained that the invitation was an easy decision for Aitch because the two musicians have been friends for years. Grennan’s own journey in the music industry was also seen as an advantage, as he could relate to contestants working to establish themselves.

Although Grennan has not previously appeared on reality television, his reported performance behind the coaching chairs may have opened the door to a new opportunity.
