Confident and energetic in the battles

In episode 7 of “The Voice Kids” 2024, Bjarne appears in the battles together with Alexandra and Anabel . Before the big performance, Team Lena first goes to the music studio, because practice makes perfect!

Ten-year-old Bjarne is not lacking in enthusiasm. Lena says of his positive nature: “I don’t know what kind of pot he fell into after he was born, but it was most likely an energy drink.”

There’s a special surprise waiting for the kids, because Lena gets the star Leony as a guest coach . The singer admires Bjarne’s self-confidence and recommends that he bring a little more feeling to Coldplay’s battle song “Viva La Vida”.

Now it’s Viva La Vida

As the battle song says: Live life ! And it is precisely this energy and passion for celebrating life that the three talents bring to the “The Voice Kids” stage.

Bjarne inspires the audience and the coaches with his deep and energetic voice. He not only captivates the people around him musically, but also through his presence on stage . The ten-year-old dances, jumps and throws his hands up; as Lena describes him, he is “a born entertainer”.

Alvaro is also surprised by the talent as he sang Lewis Capaldi in the Blind Auditions and he even incorporated a walk like a real model in this Battles performance . Lena is also amazed and is particularly happy that the talent used his power correctly, despite the excitement.

The big decision

Although all three talents brought a great atmosphere to the stage, Lena unfortunately has to decide: who will she take with her to the sing-offs?

The decision isn’t easy for her, but only one person is allowed to go: Lena goes to the sing-offs with Bjarne! The ten-year-old hugs Alexandra and Anabel full of joy. Despite winning the battles, Bjarne is sad that the other two didn’t make it. But when presenter Thore Schölermann asks him if he doesn’t want to continue, the talent quickly gives an answer: “Yes!”

Bjarne’s performance goes viral on social media

With his performance at the blind audition, Bjarne not only completely blew the coaches away. His touching performance is already a viral hit on TikTok. The video from the @thevoicekids account has been viewed over 100 million times.

The users are enthusiastic and comment: “Goosebumps!”, “this year there are such amazing little talents – wow” or “at 10, think about it!”

It will be interesting to see what Bjarne’s performance in the battles will look like and whether he will go viral again.

Malya also received a lot of attention on social media for her performance of “I’m Outta Love”. Anastacia contacted her personally and congratulated her on her wonderful performance.

Bjarne’s good mood is contagious

Bjarne is ten years old, comes from Lower Saxony and brings “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi to the “The Voice Kids” stage. Before the performance, he said how much fun he had singing: “I’ll just start singing because the feeling is great.” Because he sings so often, the whole neighborhood knows about his talent.

His family is there to support him and cheer him on. But only his plush bunny is allowed on stage . Together with Hasi, Bjarne now wants to convince the coaches. He’s sure it’ll be amazing no matter what happens. With so much anticipation and energy, he is well prepared for his appearance in episode 1.

Pure enthusiasm from the coaches

Bjarne starts the song emotionally and then really accelerates in the chorus . The high tones convince all coaches and Bjarne can be happy about a four-piece buzzer in his blind audition. The young talent can hardly believe that Alvaro, Lena, Wincent and the Fantas were buzzing. Lena particularly praises Bjarne’s performance: “Everything you do is great, but in between there are sounds that are like from heaven!”
