Season 26 is nearing the home stretch, with the Playoff rounds serving as the final stage before the live shows. Viewers have already seen contestants on Gwen Stefani’s team receive advice from Machine Gun Kelly, Reba’s team benefit from Lainey Wilson, and Michael Bublé’s team work with Carly Pearce. Now, it’s time for Snoop Dogg to guide his artists into the Playoff round. To help, he’s bringing in an unexpected guest: 11-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles.
According to an Instagram announcement, Simone will join Snoop to help his contestants prepare for their chance to continue in the competition.
“Talent, poise, and 11 Olympic gold medals! 🥇,” read the caption on November 21. “Welcome Simone Biles to #TheVoice as Team Snoop’s Playoff Advisor MONDAY 8/7c on @nbc.”

When fans heard about Simone’s surprising addition to the show, many were thrilled to see her in this new role. However, some were a bit puzzled, given her lack of direct connection to the music industry.
“Love her! But she isn’t a singer :/,” one fan commented. “I’m confused??? She is not a singer,” another agreed. “Does she have music experience that I somehow don’t know about? 😅,” a different follower asked.
While Simone may not have a musical background, others pointed out that her expertise could still make her a valuable advisor on The Voice.
“She’s probably his team’s mentor from a standpoint of overcoming adversity and remaining competitive while maintaining a positive attitude,” one fan suggested. “She can help with stage presence and confidence!” another theorized. “I was expecting someone in the music industry, but she can actually give great advice for being stage-ready. I’m intrigued to see how it goes,” someone else added.
Simone and Snoop previously got to know each other during the 2024 Paris Olympics. While Snoop served as a commentator for NBC, Simone represented Team USA in gymnastics, winning four medals—three gold and one silver—including the coveted all-around title.
Her presence on The Voice adds an exciting and unique dynamic to this season’s Playoff rounds.
