The Voice fans are furious over song choices in the final battle round – Gwen is not the only one under fire

The Voice concluded its Battle Rounds for Season 26 on Monday, with many fans calling out judges for ‘terrible’ song choices.

Six singers lost their Battle Round in the new episode, two of whom were stolen to move on to the 3-Way Knockout Rounds with a new team.

The first battle of the night was between Michael Buble’s singers J. Paul vs Kamila Kiehne, 17, who were given Britney Spears’ 2003 hit Toxic.

Buble wasn’t the only judge fans called out, with Gwen Stefani criticized for her song choice in the battle between Camryn Brooks and Rowdy Shea.

Stefani chose the Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves duet I Remember Everything, which @jeremygamer29 said, ‘Again, bad song choice.’

Still, others like @rulerofmyself said it was, ‘Probably the worst song choice ever,’ and @houseofwarwick said, ‘I understood Snoop’s vision with this song choice, but his artists didn’t.’

After the first battle, Buble picked J. Paul, while Stefani picked Brooks in the second battle, while neither their opponents were stolen.

Team Reba’s Tanner Frick went up against Tate Renner, singing Need a Favor by Jelly Roll, which was praised by @27cc40a7ee3a402 on X.

Reba was flummoxed with her decision, ultimately going with Tate, with Buble using his last steal to snatch up Tanner.

Snoop picked Mary McAvoy over Michael Alexandersson and Reba picked youngster Katie O. over trio 323.

The episode ended with Buble’s Cassidy Lee facing Cameron Wright, singing Hero by Mariah Carey.

The evenly-matched battle had Buble standing in his seat as he agonized over the decision towards the end of the episode.

The crooner ultimately picking Cameron… before Reba used the final steal of the season to grab Cassidy, as the Battle Rounds came to a close.

The preview for next week’s episode reveals there will be a Three-Way Knockout, with ‘mega mentors’ Sting and Jennifer Hudson.
