Back in June, NBC went ahead and announced the lineup of coaches for season 27. While not airing until spring 2025, the lineup consists of Keslea Ballerini, Bublé, John Legend, and veteran coach Adam Levine. Although a top lineup of talent, fans will have to wait until the new year. But for now, season 26 is just a few hours away and the coaches and contestants are ready to bring their best.

Just last season, fans learned about Asher HaVon. A bright light on the stage, the singer dazzled as a favorite and eventually found his way into the finale. Not only winning the competition, HaVon also brought a win for Reba. Now returning, Reba is looking to extend her domination over The Voice. But with this possibly being her last season, the country singer continues to expand her career with the new NBC show Happy’s Place.

Reba McEntire Is Leaving ‘The Voice’ But Not NBC

Already helming her own show in the past, Reba is returning to television with the new series Happy’s Place. Airing during the 2024-2025 season, the singer discussed the series, saying, “We have been working on trying to get another show since we were canceled on the REBA show. We got to do Malibu Country for one season. We’ve got the same producers, same showrunner, same writers, and now we’re back with Melissa Peterman and Rex Linn, my boyfriend, and a wonderful, wonderful cast and crew.”

As for the plot of the show, Reba revealed, “My [character Bobbie’s] dad was Happy, that was his name, and we owned a tavern called Happy’s Place. Well, Happy passed, and so he’s passed the tavern onto me, but there’s a little hiccup involved, so that’s the mystery right there. Everybody has to tune in and watch it, and I hope they love it.”

No matter if it is The Voice of Happy’s Place, NBC can’t seem to get enough of Reba. Don’t miss the premiere of The Voice, season 26, tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

Will Reba Return to ‘The Voice’ After Season 27?

As for Reba’s future with the singing competition, while the country legend won’t partake in season 27, the door is almost certainly open for a return down the line.

Levine and Stefani are two recent examples of coaches whose schedules forced them to take hiatuses from The Voice before returning as a judge.
