In a 2024 compilation clip from The Voice Season 26, where Bublé serves as a coach, he opened up about how he developed his distinct style. “As a young guy falling in love with this music, I spent so much time impersonating my favorite artists, and it took me years to go from just being an impersonator, vocally, to finding whatever that Michael Bublé thing was,” he shared.
Bublé, who has often cited legends like Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley as major influences, revealed that his artistic identity was shaped by a mix of genres. “I was as into the Beastie Boys and Michael Jackson as I was into Dean Martin or Bobby Darin,” he explained. “So naturally, I took some of the things I loved about modern music and infused them with my love of the American songbook and jazz. Thankfully, people accepted it—and it worked.”
With performances like “A Song for You,” Bublé continues to demonstrate why his voice transcends genres and generations. His ability to honor classics while adding his own modern touch has solidified his place as one of the greatest vocalists of our time.
