Britain’s Got Talent crowned its 2026 winner on Saturday night as the ITV competition wrapped up its 19th season with a live grand final packed with music, magic, dance, and emotional moments.
Since first launching in 2007, the hit talent show has become one of Britain’s biggest TV staples, producing memorable winners including Diversity, Ashleigh and Pudsey, Sydnie Christmas, and Paul Potts, all of whom later performed at the Royal Variety Performance.

This year’s champion walked away with the £250,000 cash prize along with a place at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.
Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI returned to the panel for the final time this season as the remaining 10 contestants battled it out for viewer votes.

After weeks of auditions, live semi-finals, and more than one million public votes, The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir were officially crowned the winners of Britain’s Got Talent 2026.
The group made history as the first choir ever to win the ITV series.
Made up of farmers and agricultural workers from across the UK, the choir was originally formed in 2024 with support from Jeremy Clarkson. The group was created to celebrate the farming community and shine a spotlight on rural life.
While many viewers congratulated the choir on social media after the result was announced, others were left disappointed that singer Matty Juniosa failed to take the title.

Fans quickly flooded X with complaints that the vocalist had been “robbed” in the final voting.
“Matty robbed #bgt,” one viewer wrote.
Another added: “Matty was robbed #BGT.”

A third fan commented: “Matty got robbed there but it was probably the wrong song. Still gave him fifteen votes all the same #BGT.”
Others also defended dance act LMA alongside Matty, with one viewer posting: “Matty was robbed! As was the Liverpool dancers. Shocking results!! #bgt.”
Another upset fan added: “Matty J got rigged! It’s heartbreaking!”
