The ‘American Idol’ alum’s fans say her version of the song gave them ‘chills.’
It’s not unusual for Kelly Clarkson fans to gush over her “Kellyoke” performances, sharing how emotional her singing makes them.
But now, one of the artists that she covered on the musical series on her eponymous talk show is chiming in.
On Nov. 15, a video was posted on social media of the “Behind These Hazel Eyes” songstress taking to the stage to give a moving rendition of “What’s Left of Me” by Grace VanderWaal.
The America’s Got Talent winner was clearly moved by the performance, writing “I’m crying you killed this.”
VanderWaal was not alone in that sentiment, as fans rushed to the comments to praise Clarkson’s interpretation.
