Mor Ilderton’s departure from Team Gwen on “The Voice”—and the behind-the-scenes drama speculated by some netizens—comes as he prepares for a music release.
Mor Ilderton has reportedly exited the reality singing competition “The Voice,” surprising viewers who had been following his journey on the NBC show. Some took to social media to express their frustration.
Coach Gwen Stefani revealed the news of Ilderton’s departure during a conversation with Mega Mentor Sting. “We had Mor, who I stole, but he had to go home, so it’s just gonna be the two of them,” she said, referring to her remaining team members, Jan Dan and Sydney Sterlace.
Ilderton’s unexpected departure lit up the internet with concern, speculation, and wild theories. “Hope @morildertonmusic is okay ❤️❤️,” one worried supporter commented.
Others, however, couldn’t help but question the inner workings of the show. “What is going on this season ?! Are the judges intimidating the contestants are they being bullied is the contract not what it turns out they signed up for I want answers,” one frustrated fan demanded.
“Wonder what’s going on here? Is there sonething shady going on [sic] ?” a third asked.
Adding to the intrigue, some fans hinted at possible behind-the-scenes drama, labeling the situation “fishy,” while one humorously suggested, “Probably cause of Gwen lol he picked whose team he wanted to be with and it obviously wasn’t hers [sic]!!”
Amid the swirling speculations, one commenter urged caution, “Don’t assume things, people. Personal reasons or lots of things can happen.” While NBC has not provided an official explanation, Ilderton has remained active on social media.
The former contestant is reportedly promoting his upcoming single, “Stranger,” on his Instagram page, with the release scheduled for Friday, November 22.
