Meghan Markle Shares Sweet Snaps of Prince Harry and Their Children Enjoying Summer Holidays
Meghan Markle has shared a new series of summer holiday photos featuring Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet, documenting the family’s recent time in Europe, including what appears to be a visit to Princess Diana’s childhood home.

A European Getaway Before Harry’s UK Trip
The family had been traveling in Europe in the weeks leading up to Prince Harry’s return to the UK for the Invictus Games in Birmingham. While Harry had originally hoped to bring Meghan and the children along for the full trip, the Duchess of Sussex ultimately delayed her arrival and entered the country separately with the children amid ongoing security concerns, following a chaotic dispute over a withdrawn invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace.

Portugal and a Possible Visit to Althorp
Although the exact location of the family’s vacation wasn’t officially confirmed, it is widely believed the family stayed in Portugal, where they reportedly purchased a second property near Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie. Among the photos, Meghan shared an image of a Portuguese seafood restaurant, reinforcing that theory.
Another image in the series has sparked speculation that the family visited Althorp, the childhood home of Princess Diana. The photo shows Lilibet walking through a tree-lined path while Harry and Archie walk ahead appearing to carry bouquets, fueling theories that the family may have visited Diana’s burial site, located on an island within the estate’s grounds.

A Glimpse Into Their Summer
The wider set of photos captured a range of family moments, including Harry playfully tossing Lilibet in a swimming pool, Archie walking barefoot along a beach at sunset, and the family running toward the ocean together. Another image showed Archie seated in the cockpit of a plane wearing a pilot’s hat. As has become typical of Meghan’s approach to protecting her children’s privacy, the kids’ faces were turned away from the camera in nearly every shot.

A Rare Visit With the King
Following their time in Europe, the family reportedly shared a private tea with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove, marking what would have been the King’s first time seeing Meghan and the children since 2022. Buckingham Palace confirmed the visit only after the family had already departed, with the meeting said to have lasted more than an hour at the estate where Harry spent much of his own childhood.

A Trip Marked by Tension
The visit came amid a broader back-and-forth over Harry’s UK accommodations, with the King reportedly growing frustrated after Harry initially declined, then attempted to accept, an offer to stay at Buckingham Palace after the deadline had passed. The family’s European travels and subsequent UK visit also came just days after Harry lost his High Court case against the Daily Mail.
