Xia Vigor Wows with Her Energetic Performance of ‘You Belong With Me’ as Taylor Swift on ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar Will Melt Your Heart

In the first season of Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids, a seven-year-old girl named Xia Vigor was about to change her life and become a star. Entering the stage in an adorable costume, she proceeded to impersonate none other than the international superstar, Taylor Swift, singing along to her hit track “You Belong With Me”! Neither the judges nor the audience were ready for such a heartwarming performance.

It’s safe to say that little Xia Vigor gave every ounce of energy she had to the performance, and has confidence that many would envy. At just seven years old, she can sing too! With the judges and audience clapping along to the performance, the atmosphere in the room was electric; more so when Xia Vigor confidently walked to the front of the judges’ panel to continue her song. Watch the adorable performance in the video below:

“Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids” was a Philippine TV show that featured child celebrities impersonating popular artists in a point-based competition. It was a spin-off of “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” which started as a Spanish talent competition. The kids impersonated a different artist each week, along with a different dance routine, followed by the judges deciding who would go to the next round. The show only aired for two seasons, and it was eventually succeeded by “The Kids’ Choice”.

“You Belong With Me” is one of the songs that helped catapult Taylor Swift to worldwide stardom when it was released on her 2008 record Fearless. The track was considered incredibly radio-friendly, while also lyrically discussing the very relatable concept of unrequited love, which made it an immediate hit with the masses. With its heavy pop influence, but roots in country, it was the first country song to ever reach number one on the Billboard radio charts.

Not only was Xia Vigor declared a child star at a young age, but she has also taken part in some incredibly important movements as an environmentalist and influencer. She is the Child Ambassador of Save the Children Philippines, a WWF Youth Advocate, and a Kid Ambassador of Habitat for Humanity Philippines. This is a prime example of how young stars can use their influence and platforms to help change the world! Xia Vigor was also the winner of “Mini Me 2”, a similar entertainment show where she impersonated Selena Gomez.
