Susanna Reid has opened up about the beauty habits behind her youthful appearance at 55, candidly admitting that a few subtle cosmetic treatments play a part in maintaining her look.
As one of the familiar faces of ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Reid is accustomed to getting up early and appearing in front of television cameras. After years in the public eye, the presenter has developed a beauty routine that combines everyday skincare with what she describes as “tiny tweakments.”
Rather than claiming her appearance is entirely the result of natural ageing, Reid has been refreshingly honest about the small measures she takes to look her best.
Speaking to Woman & Home, she acknowledged that it was difficult to pinpoint exactly what contributed to her appearance, explaining that she did not want to pretend everything was simply down to the natural ageing process.
Her comments offer a glimpse into the personal routine behind her polished on-screen image.
The Skincare Products Susanna Reid Swears By

Although Reid did not disclose the specific cosmetic treatments she has undergone, she did share some of the products she relies on to care for her skin.
One of her everyday essentials is Aveeno moisturising cream, which she says she applies religiously both morning and night.
She also highlighted the importance of caring for the neck, an area that can sometimes be overlooked as people get older.
“I use Trinny’s The Elevator neck cream because I think as we get older, sometimes we can neglect our necks and so I use that,” Reid explained.
Her routine suggests that consistency is a key part of her approach to skincare, with regular moisturising and targeted care taking priority.
Reid is also reported to drink very little alcohol, another aspect of her lifestyle that has attracted attention alongside her beauty habits. However, she has not attributed her youthful appearance to any single product or routine.
Susanna Reid’s Career in the Spotlight
Reid joined Good Morning Britain as a lead presenter in 2014 and has since become one of the programme’s best-known personalities.
Over the years, she has shared the presenting desk with familiar names including Richard Madeley, Kate Garraway and Ed Balls, establishing herself as a prominent figure in British television.
The demands of morning television mean early starts and regular appearances under studio lighting, making her candid discussion of ageing and skincare particularly relatable to viewers.
Rather than presenting an image of effortless perfection, Reid has acknowledged that maintaining her appearance involves a combination of everyday products and small cosmetic adjustments.
Her openness also reflects a wider conversation about beauty standards and the pressure public figures face to look youthful while ageing in the public eye.
Susanna Reid Weighs In on Piers Morgan’s Possible Britain’s Got Talent Return
Reid’s beauty revelations come amid discussion of another familiar television personality: Piers Morgan and the possibility of his return to Britain’s Got Talent.

Morgan served as a judge on the ITV talent competition from 2007 to 2010 and has been tipped as a potential addition to the judging panel for the show’s 20th anniversary in 2027.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Monday, October 12, Reid revealed that she had contacted Morgan to ask about the speculation.
According to Reid, Morgan responded with a laughing emoji but did not explicitly deny the possibility of returning.
She suggested that his reaction indicated he was keen to keep the conversation going, adding that Morgan has long maintained that the programme achieved its highest ratings and greatest appeal during his time on the judging panel.

In 2020, Morgan revealed that ITV executives had approached him several times about returning to the show after Simon Cowell was injured.
Morgan said the opportunity might have been enjoyable, but he would have preferred to return alongside Cowell. He described their on-screen chemistry as a major part of the appeal and said he would want Cowell involved in any potential comeback.

Whether Morgan will return for the anniversary series remains uncertain. For now, Reid’s comments have added another layer to the ongoing speculation surrounding the future of the talent show.
