CMA Fest 2024: Blake Shelton and Post Malone Unveil Their New Hit ‘Somebody Pour Me A Drink’ to Thrilled Fans

CMA Fest is known for treating fans to unexpected collaborations from artists, making the annual country music festival even more exciting!

Post Malone has been making big waves in the country music scene, so it only made sense for him to deliver an absolutely iconic CMA Fest set, including a surprise performance with none other than Blake Shelton!

Shelton and Malone surprised the audience at Nissan Stadium during night one of CMA Fest with the debut performance of their new song, “Somebody Pour Me A Drink.”

Their live performance was the first time fans got the chance to hear the song, following teasers shared by Post Malone on Instagram last month.

At that time, Post Malone posted a preview of the song on Instagram, where he was seen enjoying the music and singing alongside Blake Shelton with the lyrics:

“Somebody pour me a drink /
Somebody bum me a smoke /
I’m ’bout to get on a buzz /
I’m ’bout to get on a roll.

I’ve been breaking my back /
Just keepin’ up with the Joneses /
Y’all know what I mean /
Y’all know how it goes.”

After their surprise appearance at Nissan Stadium, the duo continued the excitement and performed the song again later at Spotify House, which is located at Shelton’s bar, Ole Red.

“Let’s hear it for our new adopted son in country music,” Shelton said to the audience at the end of their performance.

Fans who were at Nissan Stadium for night one of CMA Fest were also treated to a surprise duet between Ashley McBryde, co-host of the upcoming CMA Fest TV special, and Gretchen Wilson. The two performed Wilson’s iconic “Redneck Woman.”
