As the finale progressed, the ten finalists were gradually narrowed down, creating a suspenseful atmosphere. Looking ahead, Goodall expressed his intention to return to his janitorial job at Chauncey Rose Middle School “for a little while,” as he and Angie contemplate their next steps together. “We’ll see what opportunities come our way,” he said, adding that part of the prize money will go toward investing in their future.

For now, Richard Goodall is embracing every moment of this incredible journey, declaring, “This whole week has just been an absolute dream. An absolute dream that I don’t want to wake up from.”
